Scrubba Wash & Dry Kit

Danielle Johnston’s pick: When I was backpacking, a bathroom sink and my hands were my washing machine and a stretchy, peg-less clothesline turned dorms, from Kathmandu to Kerala, into Chinese laundries. Fast forward a few years and my washing ‘technology’ toolkit has expanded to include the Scrubba Wash & Dry Kit, an Aussie invention dubbed “the world’s smallest washing machine”. It’s the business for washing smaller items (socks, underwear, light shirts), and comes with a pocket-sized Scrubba Wash Bag, Packing Cell, a Travel Towel (for partially drying clothes after washing them), 1.5-metre clothes-line, and two inflatable coat hangers. $109.95
